 Tomato
Report: Production continues to increase in Mexico for round slicing tomatoes, and prices still continue to trend downward. Roma tomatoes are in good supply and at a great buy. Cherry and grape tomatoes continue to be in good supply and at a good price. |

 Lettuce
Report: Weather conditions are improving for the Southwestern desert growing areas, contributing to increasing supplies of iceberg, romaine and leaf. Pricing is trending downward as well. Romaine hearts continue to be high in price.

 Berry
News: Limited availability and high prices continue for strawberries. Raspberries and blackberries are expected to be in good supply and prices are steady. Blueberries are still on track to be coming out of Argentina this month. |
 Fruit
Report: Small sized lemons (140, 165, 200 & 235) continue to be in extremely tight supply. A variety of citrus items are in good supply, including Clementine mandarins from California and Chile, Satsuma mandarins, Fairchild tangerines, pummelos, blood oranges, Oro Blancos, and Minneola tangelos. Lime supplies have tightened due to shortened harvesting schedules during the holidays. Pineapples from Central America are in good supply. Cantaloupes from Central America are in adequate supply with production heavier on the large sizes. Honeydews from Central America and Mexico are in good supply, with reasonable prices for 4s, 5s and 6s, depending on the growing areas. Watermelon from Southern Mexico is in good supply as well as quality. Good availability for Bartlett, Bosc and D’Anjou pears. California kiwi is in good supply. |
 Vegetable
Report: Cucumbers are in oversupply and coming out of Nogales; prices are on the bottom. Demand is on the rise for zucchini and yellow squash. Large and jumbo asparagus very very very tight supply. Bunched broccoli and broccoli crowns are in good supply in Central California and the desert districts in Southern California. Carrot prices are steady. Leeks continue to be in tight supply, along with curly and flat parsley, also green kale. Cilantro and bunched spinach are in good supply. Bok choy and napa are in tight supply, with bok choy priced at the extreme. Spring mix, baby spinach and arugula are in good supply. Still some high prices on celery, cauliflower, kale, and fennel while product quality is still good. |
