 Tomato
Report: Roma tomatoes are in good supply and quality is good. Cherry and Grape tomatoes are holding firm on price and supplies are getting better. Prices are starting to take off on larger tomatoes. |
 Lettuce
Report: Demand is getting stronger for Iceberg and Romaine, resulting in prices starting to rise. We are seeing quality issues in Iceberg and Romaine, we are seeing some mildew in romaine and growth crack in Iceberg. Greenleaf and Redleaf lettuce still remain firm this week.

 Berry
News: Strawberries are starting to bounce back after our recent storm activity. Prices are easing down and supply is improving. Raspberries and Blackberries are expected to begin to drop in price with production improving. Blueberries are in good supply and price is firm, as well as, quality being good. |
 Fruit
Report: Lemons are in plentiful supply. Navel oranges are in good supply and quality is excellent. 113’s and 138’s sizes are more available then the larger fruit sizes. Limes are in adequate supply, with the crop on 175’s and 200’s peaking. Pineapples from Central America are in good supply with the larger size (5’s and 6’s) being great in quality. Cantaloupes are coming in from Costa Rica and Honduras, supplies are good, and prices are reasonable. Honeydew melons are coming from Mexico and Honduras and quality is good. Check out this week Hot Sheet to see our Honeydew special. Chilean peaches, plums, and nectarines are in good supply. California kiwi are in good supply, and prices have eased slightly. |
 Vegetable
Report: We are seeing quality and supply issues for Asparagus. Green onions are in good supply and prices are very good. In addition, supplies are good for Cabbage, Bok Choy, Napa, Cilantro, Parsley, Leeks, and Snow Peas. Potato market is leveled and quality is good. Onions are steady with the market looking to remain constant for the rest of the month. Bunched broccoli and broccoli crowns are in plentiful supply. Prices have eased for Cauliflower, but we are seeing a wide range in head size and carton weight. Carrots are in good supply. Spring Mix will be in plentiful supply and market is set to hold to the end of March. Celery is a good buy right now, and quality is good. Check out this weeks Hot Sheet for Celery special.
