Tomato
Report: Roma tomatoes are still firm and steady, in addition, to pricing holding firm. Unfortunately, we are starting to see prices increase due to a high demand on the other tomatoes. |
Lettuce
Report: Iceberg is coming out of Yuma, Salinas, and Huron. Expect lighter stocks in the next two weeks. Romaine market continues to climb, but quality is a problem as we transition to Yuma.

Berry
News: Blueberries are coming out of Chile and Argentina. Raspberries are shipping out of Mexico. Strawberries are high in price due to elevated temperatures and strong winds that have damaged many Oxnard crops. In addition, we are seeing strawberries that are coming out of Mexico. Stem strawberries are very limited. |
Fruit
Report: Cantaloupe market is starting to take off. We are starting to see the beginning of offshore product hit the market, which will ease prices. Domestic season will wrap up in about two weeks. Honeydew market is slowly taking off, with supply starting to decrease in Arizona and Mexico. Off shore product will be hitting the west coast market by next week. The orange market is now seeing the beginning of the Naval season. Small sizes are more available than expected. Sugar content is available in California and Florida fruit. Granny Smith, Fuji, and Pink Lady apples are starting to wrap up. Mexican avocados are holding firm, with prices remaining steady. Green Grapes are starting to take off in price, in addition, red grapes price will increase over the next couple of weeks. |
Vegetable
Report: Green Bell Pepper market is elevated due to the demand that has shifted to Coachella which is harvesting past its peak. Broccoli prices are starting to take off, there have been some quality issues. Cauliflower prices are up with the demand being strong, expect the market to rise over the next week or two. Celery market is steady. Cucumber prices are starting to take off with supply becoming tight. Expect higher prices till mid December. Potato prices are starting to ease, with Burbank and Norkotah being in good supply for Thanksgiving holiday. We are seeing the squash market starting to take off. In addition, supply is expected to improve by next week which will ease prices.
